Amanda Moretz has been involved with horses for over 25 years.  She started riding at a young age, and spent most of her teen years working as a stablehand at local barns.  It was during her teen years she began to pursue an interest in Dressage that she still is following today.

Since 2000, Amanda has been working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in multiple practices across the East coast.  She spent over three years at the University of TN Veterinary School as an Oncology technician and then also as the Equine Medicine technician.  After the veterinary school, Amanda worked at Georgia Veterinary Specialists before starting human massage school in 2012.

It was from her studies as a technician that she started to see the benefit of alternative therapies such as massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic work.  It only seemed natural to take the path of learning the art of massage therapy to further her career with horses.
In January of 2012 Amanda started her education to become a licensed human massage therapist.  She is very excited for this opportunity and the possibilities it will allow her to offer her clients!

In her off time Amanda enjoys spending time with her mare, Saving Grace a 7 year old Thoroughbred cross.  This special mare is Amanda's first horse, and has been with her for over three years now. Gracie was one of Amanda's first patients and has helped further Amanda's education.  In the spring of 2009 Gracie was diagnosed with EPM and began medical treatment and her rehabilitaion.  During the healing process Amanda incorporated massage into the treatment plan and saw great results. Both Amanda and Gracie credit the skill of the veterinarians at the University of TN Vet School who helped Gracie make a complete recovery from the EPM.  They are now schooling at First level Dressage, but also love to spend time hitting the trails.
